Great Outdoors

With the beautiful weather we have been spending as much time outside as we can!

Eating popsicles. 

Beating trees with sticks. 

Going for nature walks. 

Seeing the lake. 

We even got to see them raise the bridge for a sailboat and a ship to go through the bay! 

Fire station!

Ben's class went on a field trip to the fire station this week.  Here they are with his teachers waiting for our tour. 

We got to get up close and personal with a fire truck! 

And even get in one!

Happy Mother's Day!

Ben's preschool had a special Mother's Day tea this week.  Chris got to come too.  He marched right into the class and joined the circle.  And followed along.  Until he realized all the kids were bigger than he was and he came back and clung to Mom's leg.  He is so ready for September :)

Chris wanted to wear the special hat Ben had made for me. 

The tag says "I love my Mom because... she plays with me."  (The first part was on each card and the second was filled in with each child's answer.)

Things we saw

We went to Niagara Falls this week. 

It was a little rainy but we still had a good time. 

A little fresh air and exercise made everyone happy. 

Christopher Bear joined us. 

It was comic giveaway day and the boys got their first comic books.  He really does like it though, despite the face he's pulling.
