A visitor :)

Chris loves pockets.

This week the craft at playgroup was masks.  They were a hit.  I think we gave many people a chuckle when he wore it all the way to the store to get milk the other day.

Ben has a friend visiting us from preschool - Christopher Bear.  They colored weather maps together.

And he went to story time at the library with us.

Every week an adventure

We had Divine Mercy sundaes on Monday.  We were a day off, true, but on Sunday the boys' behavior was not good enough for ice cream.  Monday was a better day.

We painted.

The boys made crowns at playgroup.  The smallest setting was still too big for Chris but that didn't stop him.

We all went with Ben's preschool class for a field trip to the Botanical Gardens for a program about birds.  It's hard to sit still for directions.

But then we got to make our own birds.

And played bird bingo.

Chris picked his own clothes for our walk.  He thinks he's pretty cool.  Mom and Dad can't help laughing.

This might gross out certain members of the family but mixing foods it seriously the best for these boys.  I kid you not, they have put mustard on orange slices and kiwi.  This is Ben's pea face - peas on sweet potato with a piece of corn for the nose.  Thankfully no mustard involved.

Always (and all ways) entertaining

It's amazing to watch the boys together and see them becoming friends :)

Lovin' the trains.  Always lovin' the trains :)

He's so cool.  And yet there is something a little off here.

Front row seating for "Sam, the Whaler" and "Abiyoyo."

Getting some creative use out of the new costumes in the play area of the library.  In his defence, the only mirror in there is a funhouse one.

Our own wee Gene Kelly :)

Latest cuteness

Poor guy, in his seat at the table gets the setting sun right in his face at dinner.

And not to be out done by his brother.

The boys gave their crackers to the robins.

Enjoying a ballet book, makes Mom proud.

Helping Dad make pizza.

Kids are strange things sometimes - this week Ben took it upon himself to write his name.  Just like that, sat down with paper and markers and wrote his name.  And it looks like his name (especially if you already know what he wrote.)
Ben has also taken to "reading" Madeline to Chris.  It's really cute to hear "In an old house in Paris that was covered in vines, lived twelve little girls..." coming from their room.  He can recite most of the story too.
