Books, books, books :)  And tomorrow we'll go to the library..

Enjoying the sunshine while we got it :)

Trying to get a picture for preschool and the smarty pants won't pull his tongue back in.

Toys and School

Nothing like dumping out the toy basket to find what you're looking for.  And playing with everything else along the way.

I guess it's more fun upside down :)

Both boys love driving the cars and trucks.

And love reading too.

And making quite the faces.

Ben was very excited for the first day of preschool.  He started asking if it was time to go to school at 5:25 that morning!

Chris, on the other hand, was very upset that he could not stay at school too.  So for the first day we had special treats - he picked out both pretzels and a cookie (appropriately for the first day of school it was shaped like an apple.)

Chris is 2!

Two years ago this morning we welcomed Chris to the world.

And just look at him now :)

We thought you might like to join us for his birthday party.

Dinner is Chris' favorite - pizza.

And of course cake.

This is the blowing-out-candles face.  There was no accompanying anything to actually blow out the candles so Ben just had to help with that part but Chris was still tickled by it all.
The cake might have been a bit funny looking but it was still tasty.

Some interesting Chris stuff:
He will say "bless you" if you sneeze.
He is almost sleeping through the night.  Almost.
He loves chocolate milk, peanut butter, pizza, and chocolate.
"Delicious" is one of his favorite words.
He pulls some of the funniest faces, I hope you get the idea from the pictures we post here.
One of his best, most consistent faces is his "thinking" face - pointer finger right under his mouth, almost frowning, brows together, and saying "hmmmm."  We have to try to get a picture of it, it is really hilarious.

Hope you've enjoyed the party.  If I get a chance I'll post about our week tomorrow.  Maybe the boys will nap and I'll get a couple minutes free...

Wild times

The boy loves some peanut butter.  Makes Mama rather queasy but Dad is really good about cleaning him up and brushing his teeth after PB lunches.  :)  Actually, makes Mama a little queasy just looking at the picture.  Blech, yucky peanut butter :-P

Is it possible that this is the best picture of Ben we got this week?  How did that happen?
And no, he is not wearing pants.  That is just a battle not worth fighting when we are at home.

This was Chris' "smile" for me to take his picture.  Funny, huh.  We can't believe he will be 2 years old next week!!!!!!
