Christmas!

Our great family pictures this year were done by a local photographer, Jennine at Tender Expressions Photography.
Chris got his first goose egg ever on Christmas Eve after Mass. Didn't seem to bother him much though, did it?

Christmas jammies!

Check out the big guy's jams :)

Christmas morning, dark and early.

You might think this is the end of the day but no. We had opened presents, eaten breakfast, Ben had puked (twice), Bapa was helping with a puzzle and it was STILL DARK OUT!

Yay for Mega Blocks!

See, now there's daylight to color.

On Sunday Ben had to catch up on his sleep after being under the weather on Christmas. Poor guy.
And he shared. Christmas night Chris puked all over Mom too. Merry Christmas. :(

But he had a chance to play with Ben's toys while Ben was napping :)

Umm, we need to hide the tools better.

Christmas a week away!

Rocking around the Christmas tree.
Is there anything cuter than a tree decorated by toddlers and preschoolers?
Mom wisely invested in some shatterproof ornaments this year since keeping the boys out of it seems to be a losing battle.
And just so you know, we were putting strings of beads on our tree since our first Christmas tree - long before it was trendy. They are actually from the decoration on our wedding cake. :)
Hey there, cute stuff :)
I think it's safe to say that Chris is finally sleeping through the night! Our day starts around 5am but getting uninterupted sleep is heavenly for a tired Mama.

"It's maybe a Christmas tree!"
Ben showing off what he made for us at preschool.

Candy canes are serious business. They are also seriously sticky.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! So busy!

Chris has been extra snuggly due to the sleep changes and working on his last tooth for a while. With any luck that puppy will cut through in the next day or so and we'll get a teething break for a couple months.

Rapid finger paints.

Gearing up

Sharing a cereal snack with Buzz.
Looking at the geese on the lake. Ben also found a long stick and was pretending to fish, watched for boats, and climbed around on the playground.
Chris fell asleep on the long walk to the park.

All dressed up and ready to party.

Ben got to do some real (toy) fishing at the children's party for Dad's work. He also really enjoyed the magician and the cookies. But who doesn't like a good chocolate chip cookie?

Look at those fire engines! We could watch the Christmas parade from our apartment again this year. Which was a very good thing because it didn't take long after the fire engines were gone for the boys to lose interest.

Plus there was this awesome new toy waiting to be played with inside.
And Mama would like to thank whoever chose this million piece toy.

Sunday evening home with the boys while Dad is at work. Watching a Christmas movie, drinking some milk, and being a human jungle gym, what's not to like? :)
