That's about all that's going on here - it was a quiet and hot week!

Hey Ben, where's mama's shoe?

We quietly celebrated Ben's half-birthday this week. He has his check up tomorrow so we'll have his latest stats for you next week. A few of his favorite things at the moment include fruit (we haven't found one he doesn't like yet), going places, singing, dancing, reading books, and the song "Jack and Diane." We think he's aware that there is a foul plot afoot to drastically change his life but he really doesn't grasp the concept of baby brother yet. Maybe some things are better left as a suprise.

This is actually from last weekend - we were out in a big rain storm and Ben LOVED splashing in the lake, I mean puddle, outside the yarn shop. He was soaked to the skin and shrieking in delight! (Thanks for the pictures, Leeanna!)
